Subject: Open Centre Lottery


Dear Ones,
As some of you already know I am trying to piece together a Lottery to
raise money for the Open Centre.  So far we have two great trips to
offer as prizes, some art work, and hopefully a grand prize trip for
two ro Kailash (not 100% yet).  I have come up against two issues
though...The first being the need for more donated prizes, so if you
have any ideas please let me know.  The other issue is that i have
come to discover that in order to legally conduct a lottery one needs
a lottery licsence which entails a lot of red tape, paper work, and a
large chunk of money ( of which if we had the 8000 euros it takes we
might as well just  donate it to the Centre)...so Any ideas?  I still
want to put this event on, just in a different form.  I want the
prizes to inspire people to donate money in some form in, so please
inspire me with new ideas aside from a lottery.  For instance, Jaya
suggested offering the prizes to those people who raise the most money
for the Centre by a certain date.  Any other suggestions or donated
prizes for this paticular Fund Raiser would be really appreciated by
this heart.
